HazMat Certification Training

- This four-hour course satisfies both DOT and OSHA training requirements for drivers who transport hazardous materials, such as petroleum products.
- The DOT training satisfies DOT 49 CFR 172.704 regulations, which needs to be taken every three (3) years. It covers topics such as what papers and certifications your drivers need, placarding, and regulations regarding the transportation of hazardous materials. It also includes the required security training as authorized by the Homeland Security Act.
- The OSHA Hazmat training satisfies OSHA 29 CFR 1910-120 regulations and focuses on general awareness of working with hazardous materials, how to respond to accidental releases. Such training includes, but is not limited to: recognizing and identifying hazardous materials, emergency response measures, self-protection measures, and accident prevention methods. It includes training, testing and evaluation in the OSHA hazardous communications system.
